![]() ![]() I recommend this hotel very much, especially for tighter budgets. There was also pizza, sandwiches and a gourmet. There were restaurants too, across the street there was a Thai (delicious) and next to the hotel there was an Italian one (try the lasagna, which is not in the menu). The hotel doesn't serve breakfast but there's a bakery right next to it which we loved, called Bread Furst, even better that included breakfast. We got the SmartCard and used exclusively public transport which is totally awesome. There's a subway station 2 blocks away that takes you straight to Du Pont circle (where the restaurants are), the Smithsonian zoo and downtown. The area where it is located was awesome, we loved it. The bathroom was comfortable, we had soap, shampoo and all that stuff, clean towels, sheets, coffee, the cleaning service came everyday, and the TV was ok. The aisle outside the room, where all the room doors are, was ugly, there is some old carpeting that doesn't look or smell good, but that was only outside the room, so it was fine. The reception is alright and our room was comfortable and clean. /rebates/&.com252fShowUserReviews-g28970-d84051-r535949564-DaysInnbyWyndhamWashingtonDCConnecticutAvenue-WashingtonDCDistrictofColu. ![]() I saw other reviews that said it was dirty or had rats. It was the cheapest we found for our travel dates that seemed fairly acceptable, so we booked it. ![]()
